Behaviour, Safety & Participation
Rokabye is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for all children, families and staff. By enrolling, families acknowledge and agree that:
• Children are expected to follow leader instructions, use kind and safe behaviour, and respect others in the space.
• Rokabye programs are not one-on-one care. Children are encouraged to participate independently, with guidance and support from leaders as appropriate.
• Behaviour that places the child, other children, or staff at risk — including physical aggression, unsafe actions, or ongoing disruption — cannot be accommodated.
If a child is unable to meet these expectations, Rokabye may contact parents/carers to collect their child early. Where behaviour concerns persist, Rokabye reserves the right to withdraw the child from the program, either temporarily or permanently, at its discretion.
This decision will always be made with consideration of the safety, wellbeing and experience of all children and staff.
Rokabye values open communication and encourages families to share relevant information (including allergies, disabilities, neurodiversity or behavioural support needs) at the time of enrolment so we can best support each child within the limits of our program.
